Keek Geek Video Blogs

Spinning Dice Games are moving into video with our new Keek profile. Keek is essentially a micro video blog much like Twitter and is limited to a 36 second video. As well as competing for most popular video with the likes of Kim Kashardian and her clan, we’ll be promoting product videos and tutorials. Here’s some of my work so far:-

Anybody looked at our Twitter feed may have noticed the Police Box model from Ainsty Castings. Well, seems like some thieves have struck against the company and here’s the announcement:-

“While preparing for his weekend shows, Andy Lyon of Ainsty’s van was robbed:

All my boxes of show stock are gone, all my display models and figures are gone and all my boxed pieces for on the bottom of the racks are gone. Two racks of blistered minis are gone too.

“It has a substantial retail value plus is about a years worth of stock that he’s built up.

“If anyone sees boxed Ainsty stuff, Crooked Dice and Rogue Miniatures blisters being sold on the cheap let me (or Andy direct) know.

“I painted up most of the CD display figures for him and Paul V2 the Rogues… so if you see any of those on eBay shout out.”

Any gamers out there being offered cheap suspicious looking gear then I suggest you report it.

Today is World Star Wars day in celebration to George Lucas’ most famous creation of space faring heroes and Jedi knights. The first film came out in 1977 and instantly became one of the highest grossing films ever. Fast forward again to 2012 and the fanbase is just as big and far-reaching but tapered by the the ongoing issue of Lucas’ revisionist changes to the original three films and weaker prequel films. But at it’s core, the characters, concepts and scenes still endure and Star Wars is still very much part of the mainstream.

Make sure you check out the new Fantasy Flight games coming out this year

Some more footage added to the rather grim looking third instalment to Chris Nolan’s re-imagining of Batman. After two successful outings, Nolan’s got a job on his hands to outdo Heath Ledger’s Joker and make the best Batman movie yet! The villians of the piece is of course Bane but the trailer makes it unclear as to Catwoman’s alligences although most of the time she’s fighting along side Bats. Subtle hints to the plot show a romance subplot for Bruce and was that Bane invading the Batcave?
